Through the PINGNews Project, Shapinsky MultiMedia has a unique and readily accessible archive of video, audio, and images. These include stock photos of people and things, sound effects of thunderstorms, video of subways and landmarks, as well as archival footage and photos from around the world. PINGNews has been recognized by the Robotic Librarian as "a museum worth visiting." It "has assembled a massive collection of public domain photos of government origin. Split up into categories for Library of Congress, NARA, Photos and Posters from the New Deal Era, State Department and Related Agencies, Making History, DOD and related, NASA & space images and International Organizations...."
